Local System Managers are early intervention!

Part coordinator, part accountant, part monitor, part supervisor, part mentor, part student, part coach, part superhero—such is the role of the Local System Manager (LSM).

Every day throughout Virginia, LSMs oversee the local early intervention systems that make up the Infant & Toddler Connection of Virginia, assuring that infants and toddlers with disabilities and their families are identified and receive the Part C of IDEA early intervention services they need. Their jobs are important and challenging. Luckily, these individuals are among the most dedicated and caring professionals anyone could hope to meet, and under their leadership more than 20,000 families are served each year across the Commonwealth.
